 | | Yes. The information from all of the instruments (laser, compass, inclinometer, GPS) is optionally stored in the ArcPad shapefile depending on the presence of specific fields. For example, if a field called ikeTrueBrg is present in the shapefile definition, then the compass bearing will be stored in this field for each feature captured.

| | To clean ike, wipe it with a clean dry cloth.

| | If you intend to store your ike when it is not in use, we suggest you: i) Transfer any data that you need to a desktop computer, ii) Press the Power button to turn ike off, iii) Disconnect the ike from it external power source, & iv) store it in its hardcase.

| | i) Remove the unit from its hardcase and connect to the external power source, ii) Use the stylus to perform a Soft Reset, & iii) Allow the ike to fully charge before use.

| | ikeGPS automatically calculates the Magnetic Declination for your region based on GPS data.

| | ike supports all projections supported by ArcPad v7.0.1. The projections supported by ArcPad are described in the ArcPad Documentation, which is available from the ESRI website.

| | Periodically, new software and updates will become available for your ike. These generally provide issue remedies and may also include beneficial feature enhancements. | | A demonstration version of ArcPad comes preinstalled in each ikeGPS, and is ready to capture verifiable geotagged images straight out of the box.
